Hun’s football team delivered a thrilling performance at Homecoming, beating Putnam Science Academy 51-14 in front of a roaring crowd. Hundreds of students, parents, and faculty members filled the stands, cheering loudly from start to finish—a show of support that has made the entire school community proud. The players, too, are savoring their love for football and looking forward to the next season with enthusiasm.
“I love practicing with 5 star Luke Wafle. I just love it. He brings the energy and it is beautiful to watch him play,” says Phil Halpin, the corner from the football team who just joined this fall.
Though new, Phil already loves the team deeply and is having a great time with his teammates. This season, the team has shown strong competitiveness: they have won 6 out of 10 games so far, with 2 more matches left on the schedule.
One of the most exciting upcoming opponents is IMG Academy. Their match will be held at Upenn, and it’s sure to be a thrilling game for everyone to watch.
“I love the camaraderie and the workout of the football team the most.” says Cooper Ebeling ‘28. “For the next season, I am looking forward to take a step forward not only myself but as a team”
As one of the offensive linemen, Elbeing dominated the game. The football team has such a good community, when people joined the team, they began to love it.
